Dr. sc. Vanesa Rocha Martin, our CEO, has committed her professional career to study microbes. She has dedicated over 13 years of her life to study gut microbes, focusing on their impact on health.
Throughout her veterinarian and food science studies, Vanesa developed a particular interest for the gut microbiota and its metabolic potential. It was after her PhD research at ETH Zürich when she decided to translate her findings into solutions with real benefits for the consumers.
SURI BioTech GmbH was established in Switzerland in March 2023. We are a recognized ETH Zürich spin-off.
